Experimenting…suggestions?

I’m trying to find ways to support myself while I write. Here’s my thought process: I could sell some of my little paintings but I’d rather keep the originals until I find a good way to publish hard copies, at least of “What Makes a Jingle Ring.” So I took a break from the Hillock character development time to play around with some miniature paintings of pieces of some of my book illustrations. This is just a little frame I had, and I used pretty cheap paper, but I just wanted to see how it might work to make some small paintings. I’m open to any suggestions. FramedTwigs

This looks cool! Is it a new painting?

One thought I had is you could offer ‘experiences’ at Thunder Mtn, either for small groups or individual kids. For example, you could design a couple of treasure hunts that kids could come and experience; you do an hour down at the hillock; you could do a project in the studio. You could design these and then have a page describing them on your website.

Well, I freshly painted it, after I ‘copied’ a slice from a piece of page 7 of my original Twigs book painting. (boy that was a wordy way to say it!) I was just experimenting with making a tiny painting to fit in a frame. Next time, I need to use better quality watercolor paper! I probably should give it the title. “A Fright!” or something.

Experiences at the Hillock, Treasure Hunts, Projects in the Studio…yes, I could put these ‘out there’ on my website…and I guess post on Facebook. Good ones.
